In February 2025, we focused on addressing user feedback by developing the most requested features and implementing several UX improvements. These enhancements aim to elevate the usability of KoinX Books, ensuring a more intuitive and efficient experience for our users. Below, we provide an overview of the key updates and improvements introduced in this release.
Internal Transfers
With our Internal Transfers feature, you can select multiple deposits and withdrawals and mark them as internal transfers. This makes it easy for you to categorize these transactions accurately. We also provide you with options to select accounts where you want to categorize any transfer gain/loss and any brokerage fees involved in the transfers. This ensures that your internal transfers are recorded correctly, giving you a clearer picture of your organization's financial activities.
General Ledger Report
The General Ledger Report provides a comprehensive summary of all your accounts, including crypto accounts. It displays the net debits, net credits, and the closing balance for each account, giving you a clear and concise overview of your financial activities. This report is essential for understanding the overall financial health of your organization and ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and categorized.
Uncategorize Transactions
You can now uncategorize transactions to easily correct any mistakes. If you’ve assigned the wrong category or need to reclassify a transaction, simply reset it to its original uncategorized state. This gives you more flexibility and ensures your records stay accurate and organized.
Use USD value for stablecoins
You can now choose to use USD values for stablecoins like USDT, USDC, and more. Instead of reflecting slight market fluctuations, this setting ensures stablecoins are always displayed at a 1:1 ratio with USD. This helps keep your balance sheet cleaner—for example, 100K USDT will show as exactly 100K USD, avoiding small variances like 99.999K or 100.001K. Please get in touch with your account manager to enable this feature.
Transaction Hash, From and To Address Filters
You can now filter transactions by transaction hash, from address, and to address, making it easier to find specific entries. This helps you quickly locate and categorize transactions without scrolling through large datasets, ensuring a smoother and more efficient workflow.
Spam Filter
A new Spam filter is now available to help you easily identify and manage spam transactions. With this filter, you can quickly view all detected spam transactions in one place and archive them as spam, keeping your records clean and organized.
Warnings in Transactions
Transactions now display warnings for "Acquisition history missing" and "Price not found" to help you spot issues early. The first warning appears when a withdrawal exceeds the available balance in your portfolio, while the second occurs when we can't fetch a price for a transaction. Each warning comes with actionable CTAs to help you resolve them quickly. Additionally, a new filter lets you easily find transactions with these warnings for faster troubleshooting.
Download Transactions CSV
You can now download your transactions as a CSV file directly from the transactions page. Apply filters to narrow down specific transactions and export only the ones you need, making it easier to analyze and share your data.
Last Synced Time
A Last Synced Time indicator now appears at the top of the screen, so you can quickly see when your transactions were last fetched. If your data is outdated, simply click the Re-Sync button to refresh all your wallets at once.
Minor Improvements
- You can now override automations to correct previously recognized transactions. If an automation categorized transactions incorrectly, simply create a new one to override the existing classifications, ensuring your data stays accurate and aligned with your needs.
- You can now see upto 500 transactions in the transactions list at once.
