How to Filter Transactions in the KoinX App?
Tracking crypto transactions can be challenging when managing multiple wallets, exchanges, or transaction types. Locating data or identifying trade and transactions can be challenging without the right tools. To analyze your profit and loss, track specific coins, or assess transaction costs, it's essential to have a method for filtering through your transaction history.
KoinX offers easy-to-use filtering tools that streamline the process effortlessly. Simply refine your data with a few clicks by filtering through wallet, transaction type, coin, date range, and more. This lets you quickly access the information necessary for tracking profits, preparing for tax reporting, or analyzing your trading habits.
Follow this guide to start filtering your transactions and simplifying the management of your cryptocurrency funds.
Log In to Your KoinX Account
- Navigate to KoinX (opens in a new tab)
- Please sign in by entering your credentials to access your account.
Go to the Transactions Page
Once logged in, select "Transactions" (opens in a new tab) to see your recorded cryptocurrency trades, deposits, withdrawals, and other activities.
Filter by Wallets
- To see a list of all the wallets you've integrated, select "Wallets" from the menu.
- Select a wallet to exclude transactions from other wallets.
Filter by Transaction Types
- Click "Types" which will display different transaction categories.
- Choose the desired transaction type to focus on:
- Deposit
- Withdrawal
- Expense
Filter by Labels
- To view all available transaction labels, select "Labels".
- You can choose from multiple label categories, such as:
- Brokerage or Gas Fee
- External Deposit
- External Withdrawal
Filter by Coins
- To see a list of all the cryptocurrencies used in your transactions, select the "Coins" option.
- Select a particular coin to display only transactions involving that asset.
Filter by Manual or Edited Transactions
- Click on "Tags" to filter transactions based on manual or edited entries.
- Choose between:
- Manual: Displays transactions that you manually added.
- Edited: Shows transactions that have been modified after initial syncing.
This feature is useful when verifying manual corrections or adjustments made to your transaction history.
Filter by Date Range
- Click "Select Date Range" to filter transactions for a specific financial year.
- Choose the desired time period to review transactions within that range.
Sort Transactions by Different Criteria
- Click "Sort By" and select an option:
- None
- Cost: Displays transactions with the highest acquisition cost first.
- Highest Gain: Sorts transactions by the most profitable trades.
- Highest Loss: Highlights transactions with the biggest losses.
- Fees: Sorts transactions by the highest or lowest trading fees.
- Most Recent: This shows the most recent transactions.
- Oldest: Displays the earliest recorded transactions first.
View Transactions with Warnings
- Check for missing transaction data by clicking "Warnings".
- KoinX identifies two types of warnings:
- Can't find purchase transactions: This shows transactions missing acquisition history.
- Can't find price: Displays transactions where the market price is missing.
If there are no such errors, the system will show zero transactions as warnings.
