Evan Shapiro is CEO of Mina Protocol and CEO of O(1) Labs.Evan graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a BS in computer science. He then obtained his research MS while working in the CMU Personal Robotics Lab, where he did research for the HERB robotics platform. He has also worked as a software engineer for Mozilla.

Izaak Meckler is a mathematician and computer scientist. Most recently, he was a PhD student studying cryptography at UC Berkeley. Prior to that, he worked as a software engineer at trading firm Jane Street, and has contributed to numerous open source projects including the Elm compiler.

A hands-on executive with a proven track record establishing, developing and managing global business relationships and projects across fintech, payments, and mobile media industries. Recognized as a team player with strategic, tactical and operational capabilities who fosters trusted relationships. Extensive experience with both large and small organizations having worked for and with large multi-national and geographically spread organizations as well as tightly knit early stage start-ups.Interested in macro economics, monetary and fiscal policy.BA, MS in Computer Science

Joon Kim is the General Counsel and a Board Member at Mina Foundation, which stewards a layer-1 blockchain protocol called Mina. He supports the protocol by issuing grants to third parties that make significant contributions and by maintaining & managing community assets and members worldwide.  Previously, Joon served as the General Counsel of Terra and Assistant General Counsel and Vice President at Goldman Sachs. Before working in-house, he worked at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Dechert LLP as a corporate attorney.He is a regular contributor to Bloomberg News on the topics of legal regulations and the blockchain industry. He also provides research and commentary for legal publications such as Bloomberg Law and Oxford Law and shares regulatory insights and topics in the public interest.Joon went to undergraduate at NYU, majoring in international relations, and Cornell Law School.
