Gilbert Verdian, one of the founders of the Quant network, had the idea for the blockchain project while he was working in the healthcare sector. Verdian identified the importance of interoperability in ensuring that patients registered on different platforms are covered.Verdian has over 20 years of industry experience in upgrading the security, technology and business strategies of businesses around the globe in order to achieve tangible results.Prior to the Quant Network, Verdian served as the chief information security officer (CISO) of Vocalink, a Mastercard card company, the chief information officer of NSW Ambulance, the CISO of eHealth NSW, and the security lead of the Ministry of Justice, UK.

Dr Paolo Tasca, is an entrepreneur, digital economist who specializes in distributed systems. Dr. Tasca has served as the special advisor on blockchain technologies for the EU Parliament, the United Nations and numerous central banks worldwide.He is also co-author of several books on fintech and is the co-founder and governing board chair of Retail Blockchain Consortium.

Martin Hargreaves is a fintech and payments product leader, with multiple product discovery, development, and delivery projects across a variety of fintech and B2B SaaS products. He built and led Product teams in CPO, Head of Product, and VP Product Management roles, growing a strong culture of innovation, customer focus, and continuous learning.Martin Hargreaves has a product development background for eight years, with a focus on solving real customer pain points, commercial viability, and frictionless user experiences, backed by deep technical expertise.Previous experience in IT, heading up infrastructure architecture teams and departments, and professional services both in delivery and building Professional Services teams. 

Lara leads Quant’s daily operations, strategy, and administration as it goes to market internationally. Lara brings over 20 years of experience in the Healthcare and Lifesciences industry as a specialist in the development of global pricing and GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies for pharma companies. She successfully led the pharmaceutical and life sciences division of the broader Health Economics and Social Policy Practice at Deloitte and has worked at other leading pharmaceuticals/healthcare brands, including J&J, Pfizer, GSK, Eisai, Actelion and Intercept.Lara holds an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney, and an MSc in Health Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Pete heads Quant’s technology development, architecture, and engineering strategy to help it bring its transformative blockchain solutions to market.With more than 20 years of experience, Pete joined Quant in 2019 and is adept at leading teams to solve some of the most complex issues in IT. His focus includes project implementation design, process and project management, technical architecture, cybersecurity, gap/risk analysis, and agile methodology.Prior to Quant, Pete worked in various technology roles across the energy and utility sector, including nearly eight years with Total Gas & Power Ltd.
